Announcements [A]

• Pop's Music has been in business for 28 years. Our website was introduced more than 10 years ago when the internet was in its infancy. It has evolved through the years to incorporate new technologies as they became available. However, we do not wish to loose sight of our intent to keep the site easy to use and filled with helpful information.

  In recent weeks we made several changes. We added a slide show on our front page, implemented a new member registration process, added this Blog, a private Chat facility, and an extensive Bulletin Board / Forum which we will be working with soon.

  As of today we've added a large variety of songs to the Music Book section of our webstore. These work great with QChord. They have Chord notations and lyrics which is really all that's needed for the QChord or Omnichord. And they also have large music notes with the names of the notes indicated. This makes wonderful music for beginning keyboard players as well.

  We also published our QChord and Omnichord Club Meeting schedule on the openning Pops Music Club page.

  We are still in the process of checking all links and information to be sure everything is current and working as it should.

  And, as for new items in the very near future, look for:
  1. Printable music for Club Members
  2. Helpful information for QChord and Omnichord maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

  After a few more changes we will announce our newly updated website to existing customers on file via email. In the meantime we will continue to communicate through our Blog.

• About Pop's Music Blog

  We just added a BLOG to our website. This is a test to see how the system is working. Once everything is as it should be, we will publish information on the use of this BLOG. Len

  
• Changes to Popsmusic Website

  Several changes are underway at Popsmusic.com. Current functions are being expanded and new features added. We are working to implement all features as soon as possible. I have decided to unfold these changes in a 'live' environment. Therefore, some features may only have limited functionality at first. I will post updates in this BLOG about our progress.

  Here is a list of additions being implemented:

  1. This Blog - Open to the public
  2. New Registration Process with access for "members only" to added features such as:
  3. Chat Rooms
  4. Bulletin Boards
  5. Song Sheets
  6. Omnichord Owner manuals
  7. Other valuable information sources

  The above are "private" features of Popsmusic.com and do not contain commercial advertisements, etc.

  
• Club Registration and Use of Features

  Well, we've had a good number of new Club Registrations within the last few days. Some people have experienced difficulties in the registration process, though most seem to work fine. We are trying to fix whatever bug there might be and we hope to resolve this issue very soon.

  Very important to us at Pop's Music are the benefits that members receive from various features such as our Private Chat Rooms & Bulletin Boards / Fourms, etc. To this end I would encourage members to try to connect with each other via these features. In the near future I will schedule a Chat session to kick off a discussion of how we all might utilize these features. I welcome any thoughts or comments regarding this.

  
• Just Around The Corner

  Well we're still moving forward on getting our PopsMusic website updated! We hope to send an email within the next day or so announcing these changes to current customers for whom we have Email ID's. To kick off everything, we will have some fantastic offerings just in time for Christmas. To take full advantage of PopsMusic website, you will want to register as a club member. It's free, but you'll need your personal password to access member-only features. More to Come Soon!

  
• QCHORD STOCK LOW!!

  Suzuki Corp is moving production of QChords to a different factory. Shipment of QChords is not expected until sometime in April, 2008. In the meantime customers should know that our QChord stock is very low and that we will likely be sold out soon. We apologize for the disappointment this may cause some of our customers.

  
• Registration OK - Happy New Year

  I would like to extend a very Happy 2008 to our Pop's Music family of friends. A sincere "Thank you" for taking the time to stop by and for your patronage. We would not be here without you.

  Also, I need to mention that because hundreds of unwanted and somtimes offensive messages are being posted on our blogs on a daily basis, I have elected to disallow general user feedback until we can assure that such messages will not get through.

  
• Still Awaiting Fix For Club Registration Error

  I apologize for the current glitch in our registration process. I really thought it would have been resolved by now. Please know that this is a top priority and I expect it to be fixed shortly. Thanks for your patience. Len
