Introduction:
This first Album of
original Christian songs
is a collection of prayers I felt inspired to write
and set to music. My hope is that those who hear these songs will
be moved to show genuine love for one another through thoughtful
acts of kindness, compassion and understanding.
Songs Include:
Connected In Christ – We can truly feel the presence of one another when we proclaim that we are one body in Christ. No one is alone.
Are You
Ready Now To Greet Him? -
Following the belief that we are all connected in Christ, this
song asks questions to help understand that as we encounter one
another we really encounter Christ.
My Soul Won’t Let Me Stay – This song tries to describe a conflict between our human body and our spiritual soul. While our body tries to be fulfilled through worldly pleasure, our soul draws us up to much greater heights. Time After Time After Time – Throughout life we are puzzled with questions we cannot answer. It is my belief that Jesus has the answers and all we need do is believe. Take Me As Your Servant, Lord – How we use time is our choice. This song asks God to help us better represent His will by using the time we have left to love our neighbors more. Many Lives At One Time – How one person can be happy while at the same time another is sad is a troubling concept. Yet the reality of time with beginnings and endings overlapping is only for God to know.

More often than not there doesn’t seem to be enough time or money
to do or have everything we need. And in this circumstance there
is certainly no time left for God. It has always amazed me how by
changing our priorities and putting God first, He provides for all
we need. ****
"Blue Water, Some
Sand" Introduction: This is our 1st attempt to record original songs. Songs in this album were written over a period of about 50 years. They are all love songs that I dedicate to the love of my life, my best friend and wife, Rita. Although we had never done anything together like this before, I was able to persuade Rita to sing three songs with me. Our sincere hope in producing this album is that the messages in these songs can help others realize that the greatest joy in life is to love and be loved. Blue Water, Some Sand - This song that I have chosen for the Album title, is one of my most recent. It captures the romantic opportunities we have experienced at the NJ Shore, a place we have come to know and love since early childhood. I Get My Thrills Lovin’ You – We had been married 13 years when I wrote this song. It looks back on the events that brought us together and confirms a love that still thrills today. Two In Love Can Make The Angels Sing – Experience shows that no matter what problems come our way, when love is present not only can we endure, but it seems even Angels lift their voices in song. When You Dream, Dream With Me - God granted me the wonderful gift of friendship at a very early age. Almost as soon as I met Rita in grade school I felt assured of a lifelong partnership. This first song written in 1955 tells that with God’s guidance couples can accomplish their dreams together throughout life. Little Grandchild of Mine – Is there any gift more wonderful than children? To watch our own 6 children grow and then to be blessed with many grandchildren is reward beyond compare. This song celebrates a true gift of life, the connection between grand parents and grand children. Memories Yet Told - The past holds many memories, both happy and sad. As we grow older there could be a tendency to dwell only on old memories. But, to learn from the past and then be of a mind to create more memories for a new future seems a more rewarding state. Still Mine - Saying “I love you and always will” is a commendable expression. However, from time-to-time the human side of both the giver and receiver of such expressions need on-going assurance to feel secure in these thoughts. This song attempts to recognize and fulfill this need A Lucky Guy - While luck really has nothing to do with the attributes of true love, I can’t help but feel blessed from all angles. Being “A Lucky Guy” indicates the fortune I have in a relationship that despite any absentmindedness on my part would make most others envious. It is truly my good fortune to have a partner whose love is unconditional and who brings so much “luck” to our relationship.
As Long As I’m Right Here With You –
This very recent song confirms that
no matter where I travel, I find true comfort only when I’m in the
company of my wife and best friend, Rita.
